My Review
I don't think I have found a more Scripturally packed Christian living book than I have found in Storm Proof. The author brings us the reality of storms we are all either entering, in the midst of, or exiting in our lives. I was very encouraged by the personal touch our author brings with her own storms of infertility, cancer, financial issues, and more. The author organizes the book into 7 sections that each touch on a different character or circumstance in the Bible that is a storm. Each one builds on the previous one, and brings a multi-faceted look at each one and how we can apply those Biblical truths to our lives now. As I said, this book is based on Scripture and it is overflowing with Bible verses which is the best foundation and can never be wrong. While I don't know all about Ms. McLeod's beliefs as a Christian and all that she teaches, this book was Scripture and practical application, and provided an excellent understanding of how our biggest growth and greatest joy comes from the Lord in our storms.
I received a complimentary copy of this book, and all opinions given are entirely my own.

More from Carol
I wrote this book and dedicated it to a lifetime friend and a woman who has survived the worst of life’s storms. ”You have danced in the sunshine… been drenched by circumstantial downpours… been threatened by windy situations… and been attacked by the blinding blizzard of events. But through it all, you have been faithful. You have been a warrior. You have been a worshipper. You have kept your eyes on Jesus. You have been StormProof. You haven’t just weathered the tough times in life…you have rejoiced through them! There is no one I would rather share an umbrella with than you, my friend.”Blog Stops
